Colour & Shadow

Summer 2021

I'm going to build this section out over time - it's a bit of a catch-all for smaller things I've built around lighting.

I have several of these cheap 12V RGB floodlights and had them installed outside at my uncle's place. Learned they really aren't that weatherproof, as 3 of them died after one season from water getting inside and corroding the electronics. Instead of tossing them, I decided to clean them out and install higher wattage LED packages.

I wanted to play with the Coloured Shadows (additive colour) effect, so I installed red, green, and blue LEDs in the units. Very simple to set up, and the results are so cool!
